deep self-care tip

I’d like to offer some fun ways to begin loving yourself more deeply, creating more freedom, more ease and more love for others!

We are all hard on ourselves from time to time.  However, some of us, some of the time, are downright mean to ourselves.  Being self-depricating sounds good on paper, but in reality it makes for a self-image that does not support a happy camper.  One of my tricks has been saying my thoughts aloud.

Yes – talking to myself.  I do it all the time, even have conversations with different aspects of myself – out loud.  (You may want to be careful doing this in public or anytime you are not alone.  It helps if you have a pet or carry around a phone :-))

The thing is you will begin to actually hear what you are saying to yourself.  Ask yourself if you would talk to a dear friend like that.  If not, you’ve got something to look at.  You might also begin to notice various aspects of yourself that are at odds.  This practice can be quite enlightening, and I never cease to amuse myself.
